This project is about the topography of small towns in Bavaria, Germany. All photographs were taken with an analog large format camera ('Mamiya') and developed by myself in the darkroom. The pictures were captured on 'B/ W Ilford Delta ISO 400, 120mm' film and exposed to 'Fomaspeed' photopaper.
These photographs show the vulgarity of everyday life in the villages in the south of Germany. The approach is very simple, every object was photographed central perspective in order to work out the dullness of daily routine. The images look alike so do the weekdays of the citizens. The last picture of the series shows a garbage dump, the last remains of a pulled down house. This emphasizes that this kind of lifestyle often collides with the dreams and desires of human nature.
