The church

I came to this topic because Germany has plenty of churches in every town. I always kept wondering, who actually uses these buildings, especially nowadays when the catholic belief seems to decrease in Europe.

So I started to take photographs in different churches in the city of 'Wuerzburg' in order to get an idea of the 'inner life'. As I expected, the outcome was that not many people visit those places except during holy mass. In all my images, the contemplator can observe that the buildings are empty. The actual facts validate my assumption.
