Filipinas

This book-design project focuses on the Philippine Islands.

First parts of the book serve as an introduction of the Philippines and its residents, containing detailed information about
filipino culture and history. Another important aspect are the conflicts within the country, which faces corruption and
ethnical disputes.

The other chapters deal with the 'Philippine Cordillera' and its native tribes. Since the author has visited the provinces
'Kalinga', 'Ifugao' and 'Mountain Province' for several times, he dedicated most of the pages to those abandoned areas.

All pictures have been captured by the artist during his various journeys throughout the islands.
